
Clay Hughes is an associate attorney at SMGB Law, specializing in Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Business Law, Sports Law, and Corporate Law. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Clay now resides in Leeds. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During law school, Clay was an active member of the Trial Advocacy Board and participated in several national and internal trial competitions. Prior to joining SMGB Law, he practiced business litigation in the Birmingham area. Outside of work, Clay enjoys traveling with his wife, Allie, and their dogs, Rory and Ralph, playing golf (unsuccessfully), and cheering on the Auburn Tigers.
